Abstract: Orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine has distinctive characteristics, and the theory of soft tissue and bones is of great significance in guiding clinical practice. The theory of soft tissues and bones is the classic theory of orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine, but the theory of soft tissues and bones is scattered and recorded in various classics. The relationship between soft tissues and bones has not been systematically elaborated, especially the relationship between physiology, pathology and treatment principles are sporadic. According to the comprehensive literature, the relationship between the tendon and bone content in the theory of soft tissues and bones is mainly reflected in the following aspects: physiologically, the tendon and bone complement each other, which is manifested in the combination of the tendon and bone, the tendon and the tendon are soft, the tendon and bone are strong,, and the tendon and bone are mutually used; Pathologically, there are mutual effects, such as muscle relaxation and bone flaccidity, muscle stagnation and bone dislocation, bone dislocation and tendon displacement, bone fracture and tendon separation, etc; In the treatment, the same differentiation and treatment are manifested as: managing soft tissues and setting bones, paying equal attention to soft tissues and bones, balancing soft tissues and bones, adjusting soft tissues and bones, and treating root causes together. The clinical practice of bone injury follows the guiding principle of the theory of soft tissues and bones. Both internal and external treatment need to be combined with disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation, and at the same time, "differentiation of bones and soft tissues".
